A key part of the Elford Hall Gardens is the allotments that are contained within the original Victorian high garden wall. The wall creates a superb environment for growing fruit and vegetables by reducing exposure to wind and increasing the background temperature. There are currently 15 plots being rented which are of various sizes. Some of the plots are cultivated by groups of friends whilst others are managed by couples or individuals.
